Things as They Really Are

Do we really see things as they really are. Daily, I am reminded (or picked on) for not being willing to be on Face Book and other things like that. I know me and my addictive personality...and I would be constantly on the computer reading about this person or that person rather than doing what I really need to do.

I not only need to see things as they really are, I need to look at things from an eternal perspective.

Our Newest Piece of Sweetness

Meet Zoey May Rees, born August 26, 2011. Zoey weighed 8 pounds 1 ounce and is 20 inches long. Mom Whitney and Dad Danny, sisters Nevaeh and Bella are thrilled.

Of course, her great-grammy and great-gramps are jumping up and down with joy.

Thank you Heavenly Father for bringing Zoey safely here. She and cousin Jayden are two months apart and I am sure as they grow up will be finding all kinds of "fun" things to do together.

Moments That Matter Most

This really helps to put life into its proper perspective. We need to enjoy every moment that we are given. Life is fragile...handle it with prayer!

I guess every grandma has the right to brag...regardless of what others feel about the performance!

This is Kai - the cutie with the glasses - (Kristy's youngest) performing at his preschool graduation with his best friend, Nathan.

What a joy my family is to me. Wonder where they get all their talent from!

Our Newest Rees' Pieces

Meet Jayden Daniel Jimenez-our 3rd great grandchild. He was born Monday, June 6th at 4:59 a.m. weighing in at 7 pounds 11 ounces and 21 inches long. Our granddaughter Breann (Cindy's daughter) and her sweetie Danny are as proud as can be.

What a blessing to have this sweet spirit added to our family. He is truly one of God's greatest miracles!

I am grateful for the testimony that I have that I am a Child of God. I know Heavenly Father lives; that my Savior, Jesus Christ lives, and that if I live righteously, I can live with them again.
